Pupil Premium

At Aylburton C of E Primary School, we believe that all children can learn and flourish through God's love. The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding that enables the school to address any underlying inequalities between children eligible by ensuring that funding reaches the pupils who need it most.

How to apply

In order for the school to receive the Pupil Premium Grant to support your child, you will need to apply for free school meals.

Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit

If you are eligible, it is important to apply even if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 as although they all receive Universal free school meals, this does not provide the additional Pupil Premium Grant.

Please click on the link for more information and to see if you could qualify.
