Welcome to Maple Class!

Maple Class is home to our wonderful Year 3 and 4 children. Miss Penfold is the class teacher and Mrs Childs teaches Maple Class every Tuesday afternoon. We are supported by Miss Morris, our KS2 teaching assistant.

Class Information:

We have a fun and inspiring curriculum in school to ensure all children achieve their best and enjoy coming to school. Take a look at our learning overviews for more information on what we will be learning in Maple Class this term.

P.E:

Our PE lessons are on a Wednesday and Thursday each week. Wednesday we will learning Tag Rugby and Thursday we will be learning Netball. Occasionally, these days may change depending on the weather and hall availability, so please ensure you child has the correct PE kit in school every day.

Library:

We will visit our school library every Monday afternoon. During this session, children will be able to choose a book they wish to take home to read. 

Homework:

Homework is given out every Friday and due by the following Wednesday. Pupils should read at least four times per week at home. Please record page numbers and comments in their reading records.
