Week 6, beginning 1st June.

Hello Class 2,

I hope you have all had a lovely half term week, relaxing and enjoying the amazing weather that we have had recently. I am sure  you have been having lots of fun with your families, and spending a lot of time outside.

As you probably know, the government have said that some of the children can return to school this week, and Mrs Dare and the teachers have been busy sorting all of this out. The children returning to school this week will be taught in smaller groups. I will be in school from this week teaching some of our Year 6 children. This means that sadly I will not be preparing your online work which I normally put on the website. Instead, Miss Larkham, who is normally the Year 4 teacher at Lydney C. of E. school, will be doing that for you. You can still send your messages and / or work to our class email. Miss Larkham will respond to your emails every day. I will also have a look at your messages, as I am still really interested in what you do, and am looking forward to hearing from you all in the next week or so.

We are now entering the final term before the summer break so keep up the great work that you have been doing at home! I am sure that Miss Larkham will be as impressed by your work as I am. So far, I have really enjoyed looking at the work you have shared with me. Informative fact-files, imaginative writing, fantastic art work, interesting topic work and amazing sports skills!  Miss Larkham and I will be keeping in close contact with each other.  She will be telling me all about what you are doing and will let me know if anyone has any problems.

Meanwhile, take care, have fun, and keep a smile on your faces!

Love from Mrs Riach.
