Welcome to Class 3
We will carry out research to find out what we can about Ancient Greece through using evidence that archaeologists might have discovered.
We will find out about the differences in the lives of men, women and children during this period of time as well as the differences between Athens and Sparta.
We will investigate the power of Greek soldiers and how the Ancient Olympic Games were different to the modern events.
As part of our Fairtrade fortnight class 3 carried out research to find out what Fairtrade is all about. They then put their findings together in a report to inform others. They focused on questions such as: Why can trade be unfair? What difference does buying Fairtrade make? Who benefits from Fairtrade products?
They then went on to look at food which can be brought as Fairtrade and found out where in the world these foods originate from.
Think about these questions:
What do you notice about the countries?
Are there some countries which seem to produce more that other countries?
Do you buy Fairtrade products from the supermarket? Can you find them on the map?
Let The Battle Commence!
